Controlled Plasma Energy, Engineered for the Treatment Room

Luxis Plasma turns an energized gas discharge into a repeatable professional protocol. The practitioner sets the mode, chooses the applicator and works across a defined area at a controlled distance.

Controlled Plasma Energy, Engineered for the Treatment Room

Overview

From plasma physics to the treatment room

Understanding Luxis Plasma starts with two questions: what plasma actually is, and how that energy is delivered in a controlled, professional way.

Plasma is described as the fourth state of matter. Adding energy to a gas separates some of its particles into charged ions and free electrons, producing a reactive mixture that behaves quite differently from the gas it came from.

In a professional care setting the useful part is not the physics on its own, but the control around it. The gap between the applicator tip and the skin, the dwell time, the mode and the movement pattern together determine what the treatment feels like and what the surface looks like afterwards.

Luxis Plasma is designed around that control: a defined discharge at the applicator tip, two selectable plasma characters, and a set of applicators sized for different treatment areas.

Fundamentals

The four states of matter

Energy changes how particles behave. Plasma is what happens when a gas receives enough energy for its particles to separate into charged components.

Solid

Particles are held in a fixed lattice. Energy input is minimal and the material keeps its shape.

Liquid

Added energy loosens the lattice. Particles flow past each other while staying in contact.

Gas

Further energy frees the particles entirely. They move independently and fill the available space.

Plasma

When energy continues to rise, particles separate into ions and electrons. The mixture becomes electrically conductive and chemically reactive.

In the device, this state is created in a controlled way inside the handpiece and released at the applicator tip, so the discharge stays local to the area being worked on.

How it works

What the discharge does at the surface

The applicator tip creates a small, defined discharge. The practitioner moves it across the treatment zone so the effect stays even and controlled.

Localised discharge

Energy is released at the tip rather than across the whole handpiece, so adjacent areas are not treated unintentionally.

Surface-focused action

The protocol is designed around surface cleansing and preparation objectives rather than deep tissue effects.

Adjustable delivery

The practitioner sets the mode and adjusts the working distance and speed of movement to match the area and the objective.

Repeatable results

Same mode, working distance and movement pattern, session after session. The protocol reads consistent across clients.

Two plasma characters

Cold plasma and warm plasma

The same platform supports two plasma characters. They are selected according to the professional objective of the protocol, not as a stronger or weaker version of one another.

Cold plasma

Used where the objective is surface cleansing, calming and appearance care, including targeted skin and scalp work.

Warm plasma

Used for controlled energy-based appearance protocols on targeted professional face and body areas.

The comparison above is a content model, not a performance claim. Gas requirement and applicator compatibility are published as confirmed by the manufacturer; sensation details are published once confirmed.

Professional use

Designed for trained practitioners

Plasma devices are operator-dependent: the result follows the protocol, the settings and the practitioner. For that reason the platform is positioned for professional environments rather than home use.

  • Operate only in a professional beauty or aesthetic setting.
  • Confirm the treatment area and the selected mode before starting.
  • Follow the product instructions for working distance, movement and duration.
  • Review contraindications and the client’s history during consultation.
  • Keep applicators clean and replace consumable parts as instructed.
  • Contact Korea Luxis Tech for documentation applicable to your market.
